Angel Dragon Fursuit Reference Sheet

If you’re thinking of dressing up your pet in a dutch angel dragon costume then there are a few things you should do before starting the costume. If you use a stock Angel Dragon fursuit from the pet store or something off of the internet you will need to get a proper dutch angel dragon fursuit reference sheet. This is needed because these are special furs that are designed to help with mimicking the natural look of an angel dragon.

After you have obtained a reference sheet, you will need to prepare it for sewing. Use a vinyl square that is slightly larger than your piece of fabric or a clear acrylic sheet that is about the same size. Use your dutch angel dragon fabric to make four identical squares on the back of the ref sheet. These should be attached to the front of the ref sheet, right sides together. These will be the legs of your costume.

Sew the four pieces of fabric together, using the backing as a guide. Before you put the legs on they should fit right to far together so that the sheets don’t bunch up. Once the legs are on, you can sew on the fur in the same manner that you did with the other fur pieces. Be sure that you use a seam ripper to get the fur to stick to the sheets properly. It may be necessary to hem the piece however you want to before you finish it.

After you have sewn on all of the fur, you will want to use a seam ripper to give the sheet a crisp edge. The next step is to glue the legs to the ref sheet and then place another piece of sheet on top of the first one to hold everything in place. You can now attach the wings to the tail, making sure that they are straight and attach them correctly so that they won’t come off anytime soon. This is the last step in your angel dragon fursuit reference sheet. The wings should be attached securely, and then you will want to turn over the whole thing to make sure that there is no excess glue that has been left behind.

If you don’t know how to make a fursuit, then you can purchase one that is already made from a kit or that you design and create yourself. Creating your own fursuit is a great way to be unique because you control the design 100% yourself. Most kits that come with angel dragon fursuits include a complete ref sheet and instructions for making the creature. However, if you are not familiar with sewing then creating your own fursuit would probably be easier.

First, you will need a fursuit reference sheet or some type of pattern book. If you don’t have any then go ahead and get some either online or at a craft store. These books will have a lot of details and pictures that will show you exactly how to make your dragon appear to look as though it was modeled on a human or animal. Fursuit reference sheets aren’t necessarily required but it certainly helps to know what things to look for when making the animal look as though it has been modeled on something.

Next, you will need to cut out the different areas that will represent the head, chest, legs, tail and wings of your dragon fursuit. Use your cutting device to make four slits in the front, two in the back and one in the middle of the back panel. These four slits should be the same size and shape as the original pattern on the back of the sheet. Once you have done all of this, lay the ref sheet over your original to seal the seams and let it dry.

Now you can do your transfer to your favorite clothing. Cut off the excess backing from the clothing piece. You will then want to place the clothes furries onto the foam board. Place the tail on the back and furries onto the front and attach zippers. The next step is to roll up the bottom sleeves and attach with Velcro. You now have a dutch angel dragon furries costume that you can wear to a slumber party or even to a local masquerade!
